The Coleman/York S1-7142-3091 Furnace Limit Switch is an OEM automatic-reset safety switch used in compatible Coleman, York, and Evcon electric furnaces.
This L150-40F limit control is designed to open the circuit when furnace temperature reaches approximately 150°F and automatically reset when the temperature drops to approximately 110°F. It helps protect the furnace from overheating by interrupting operation when excessive temperature is detected.
The S1-7142-3091 is used on a number of Coleman EB, EHA, and 3500 Series electric furnaces. Always verify the furnace model, part number, temperature rating, and mounting style before ordering.
